Meet the team
Principal Architect

As the founder of Albany Studio, Chase is a registered architect in the state of Texas, and in the state of Hawaii, is 3rd generation in construction with 2 decades of experience in construction.
Chase has had the privilege of honing his skills under the guidance and mentorship of some of Houston’s top Modern architects as well as studying under international architects including Los Angeles based architect Michael Rotundi. During his studies, Chase’s work at University of Houston contributed to “Risky Habit[at],” a project that gained national recognition and made Biennale appearances across (3) continents including the 2014 Venice Biennale directed by renowned Dutch architect Rem Koolhaas. The project’s success garnered many publications and awards including the Award for Best Exhibition Awarded by the Global Art Affairs Foundation and the Texas Society of Architects award.
Before his studies in architecture, Chase began his career in residential construction as a carpenter. This diverse experience across the profession has shaped his holistic approach to architecture, combining hands-on craftsmanship with innovative design.
Chase is honored to be married to his best friend, enjoys spending time with his kids, making music, guitar, and piano. He also likes mountain biking, pickleball, and a good cup of coffee.
Construction Superintendent

Phillip is currently a jobsite Superintendent for Albany Studio. He is an outgoing enjoyable person.
He values meaningful relationships with other dedicated people that are committed to working hard and enjoying the work life and the home life.
From an early age he started working with hands-on building projects.
Phillip works well with others and has a strong teamwork mentality that always delivers great results.
Part of Phillip’s responsibilities include coordinating and scheduling what happens on a day-to-day basis at the jobsite. He works closely with our subcontractors and plays a key part in ensuring quality control.
He enjoys being a part of a great team of people that really love what they do.
Architectural Designer

Aldo is a disciplined and detailed architectural designer who loves the process of designing and preparation of construction documents. Outside of architecture, he likes spending time at the gym and art museums.

Angelo is an interdisciplinary designer inspired by minimalistic design. His ideas revolve around concepts that tells a story using materials, colors, composition, and form. He believes that great architecture is achieved when function, form, and quality of space comes to fruition, resulting in an experience that enhances the quality of life.
Outside of architecture, Angelo’s interest sits in a crossroad of art, fashion, graphic design, and digital media.
